Arhemia Fidai

Born and raised in the small urban suburb of "Money Earnin" Mt. Vernon, NY, Arhemia Fidai had music running through her veins from an early age. "Hemee" (as she is fondly called) remembers late evenings of staying up late with her brother and waiting for the rap videos to air. "We lived and breathed it. We were hip-hop." Her love of the music gave way to an intellectual mind that was able to determine musical hits from the first verse. This music thing was for her!!!

The NYU graduate started off as a member of the all female hip-hop group named "G.I.G.O" (an acronym for Got It Going On). However, the group disseminated and the ladies started branching out on their own. While completing a Bachelors of Music from New York University's prestigious Steinhardt School of Education, Hemee was able to garner an internship at Sony Music proving to be just the opportunity that she needed to apply the knowledge that was being learned. Studying under the tutelage of the late Ron Archer, she was able to get first hand knowledge of the inner workings of the corporate and creative side of the music.

Her concentration in marketing and keen ear for music has proven her to become a talented A&R. While interning at Sony, she was asked to sit in on many recording sessions and give her honest critic on the music. This was unprecedented for a female intern. Thus, her value was evident. Arhemia continues to be an asset in the music industry and also works very closely with the President of New York University.
